LIAM TREMBLE ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY MSB AC’s Liam Tremble will be travelling to Mol in Belgium to take part in an international cross country meet on November 8. The talented 17-year old from Blanchardstown will be travelling as part of a team of promising Irish junior athletes, selected by the Athletic Association of Ireland. The race in Belgium is a warmup for the European Junior Cross Country championships, where it is hoped Ireland will have a strong team. Tremble made his international breakthrough last season, representing Ireland at the World Junior Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh. The meeting in Belgium will give him another opportunity to perform on the international stage. Liam Tremble finished 2nd in the Dublin Junior CC championships in St. Anne’s Park in Raheny last Sunday. Another local Blanchardstown talent, David Flynn, who is running with Clonliffe Harriers, finished 1st in last Sunday’s race and will also travel to Belgium as part of the Irish team.
